The powerhouse of our apartment-style line of compactors, the Model AP1 is built for high-density residential buildings that cannot afford downtime. Built with a massive 10-cubic-foot chamber, this compactor handles your largest waste streams with ease, displacing up to 70.0 cubic yards per hour. With a 1/2″ reinforced steel ram face and a dual-plate 1/2″ steel floor, the Model AP1 is built to outlast the competition in the harshest "high-rise" conditions.

An integrated photo-electric sensor manages the entire compaction cycle by automatically starting when refuse is present and shutting down when the job is complete. If an object cannot be compacted, the Auto-Pak® AP1 compactor will automatically shut down to prevent damage to the equipment. Once a compaction container is full, an indicator light informs the operator that it is time to replace the container. Additionally, a service access door is provided with an electronically interlocked safety switch which prevents the machine from operation when open. Built for safety, an emergency stop button is also provided. Need customizations? No problem. The AP1 can be customized in many ways to meet the requirements of your trash room.
